Yellow Fin 🐟

Today was a very busy day. We started early as we have few things to do including bank details update, BIR for my TIN, SPA, payment update for the lot and few more request in their office.

So we decided to treat ourselves with a sumptuous lunch... something worth trying, waiting and searching!!! 😅😅

Yellow Fin Restaurant in Torres Street, Davao City. Their specialty is Yellow Fin Tuna (which I think very obvious from their name 😅😅😅) but they do serve other meat like chicken, beef and pork.

They have different Tuna dishes (most requested):

1. Paksiw na Tuna
2. Laing na Tuna
3. Deep Fried Adobo Tuna

It's a Fine-Turo-Turo Dining 😅😅 (Turo-Turo is just pointing at the food you want to order which is already prepared and ready to serve). But the place is nice, very welcoming... full glass around so light is very natural and interior is very cozy.

Great place to conduct events, gatherings, business meetings or just a casual get together. Actually nice place to hangout with friends if all you want is eat and talk! 👌

So as our tummy are screaming for foooooddd... we ordered:

Beef Balbacua
A very creamy sauce and it taste like ... I can't explain!! It's soooo perfect for me!. I don't know how they made it but I love it! Taste lingers up to the bone literally!!! Meat is soft and tender! I really closed my eyes with excitement the moment I tried it.

Laing Tuna
Its a sliced Tuna wrapped in Taro Leaves with coconut milk and ginger. It's yummy toooooo... Sweet and a bit spicy... It looks dull but really enjoyed every bite! 😋

Deep-Fried Adobo Tuna Tail (most requested as they said...)
I was actually wondering how they could combine 2 dishes: Deep fried and Adobo. Deep fried is literally deep fried in oil while Adobo is sauted in soy sauce and vinegar with seasonings.

And when it was served, Amoy palang, ulam na! (the smell of it is already a dish!)

Skin is sooo crunchy while the meat is juicy until it's fats that is soooo tender.... in short, deliciousoooo!!! We can't resist the extra rice!! 😅😅😅

Eggplant Enselada
'twas perfect combination with Deep fried Adobo Tuna tail. It's sourness blends perfectly with the juicy Tuna meat!

As we were hungry and tired, it didn't take hours to finish it all... 😅😅😅

And boooomm!! We realized that we don't have picture together... so we took groupiee after we finished the food! 😅😅

It was indeed a sumptuous lunch and we were full packed for the other half of the day.

Luckily banks closes at 05:00 PM so we had enough time to finish our to dos...

But I was surprised to know that the bank we're going is the same bank where my friend's Executive Cafe & Wine Galore is located and guess what!! They have Eat all you can promo for only P149.00 😨😨😨

We're soooo full so we decided to proceed with our to dos and just had some coffee and tea after that.

I ordered Gourmet Latte and Pong just had Green Tea. The place is soooo cozy with nice interior. Music and ambiance is sooo relaxing. Three Thumbs-up to our Dear Friend Irene! 👍👍👍

It's indeed a very busy day but fruitful! 😊
