My princess baptism...
Baptism is a sacrament, it is the basis of our Catholicism or Christianity.. We are all born having sin and baptism frees us from sin and makes us children of God and members of the Church.
We welcomed Yanna to the Christian World last December 24,2017. ( Just want to share, better late than never😁.).
My husband and I decided to have our daughter baptized before my maternity leave ended. Also, I dont want my baby Yanna to go outside of the house until she got baptized. It is one of the "pamahiin" or superstitious belief of the Filipinos.. They believed that the baby should not take out of the house to protect from sickness.
Yanna's baptismal dress, shoes giveaway and invitation
Church: San Isidro Labrador Parish
Address: Poblacion, San Luis Batangas
2weeks before the Baptism, we go to the office of the Church to book. We are entitled to have seminar, the parents and all the ninangs and ninongs. Cost for the baptism was 1000 (cost for tha sponsor are included).
I was very proud of Yanna because she cooperated all throughout the ceremony and reception. She was awake the whole time and only cried when she was already hungry and when she feels sweat.
Reception: Tungal, San Luis Batangas (my parents house)
The venue's setup is so lovely😊, Thanks to Gamos Catering..
Yanna's cake
Everyone enjoyed the baptismal party. Yanna was showered with so many gifts and "pakimkim" (cash) from her ninong’s and ninang’s.
Yanna's Christening turned out to be memorable and awesome and blessed!
To all our family, loved ones and friends, THANK YOU THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!! GODBLESS US ALL😇
