I remember eating aratilis when I was a kid. You didn't ask for snacks you went and climbed a tree.
I remember wanting some green mangoes and climbed the tree a few streets away from our house. Nobody really likes going there because it was said to be haunted by a woman who hanged herself.
Hunger trumps fear and off I climbed and got some mangoes. No curse or screaming woman stopped me but the fire ants nearly did.
I had to drink Benadryl to ease the swelling but worth it!
