TIKBALANG

This monster has the head and hooves of a horse and has a body of a man. They lives on the woods in the mountains and plays tricks on travelers until you get lost in the woods. You will go around in circles and never find your way out. They wait sometimes sitting at the bottom of a tree waiting for travelers. In order to get out of the forest you must wear your clothes inside out so you can escape the spell by the Tikbalang.

The Tikbalang does eat human flesh and there is a way to capture and tame the monster. You must ride the monster and get three hair from it's head but it will be very hard to do so though some has succeeded. My friend who lives in the province told me that his mother has the three hairs from the Tikabalang and has become like a body guard at night. The hairs was given by his grandfather to his mother. They live in the remote province and there were times the could see a horse like figure looking inside their house from the window.

These is also a saying then when it is sunny but raining there is a Tikbalang getting married. They are also the guardian of the elements which were reincarnated from aborted babies. The history of the monster goes back 4000 years ago and they must have a basis for it. They must have seen one to be able to describe the creature as it hard just to imagine the monster.

Monsters are everywhere just hiding and waiting for the right chance to give us a scare. We don't know we might be just sitting beside them or they might be just behind you.
