AN ANGEL

"SMILE - a facial expression in which the eyes brighten and the corners of the mouth curve slightly upward and which expresses especially amusement, pleasure, approval, or sometimes scorn. "

But the SMILE that you gave us hurts. Why?

Because you left. You left us, but these smiles that you let us wear will last forever.

SADNESS.

You don't know what it feels like when someone that's so important to you suddenly left you without saying anything. Yes! He didn't say anything because he was sick. He was really sick. And I hate it because now he's no longer staying in our home. He's now staying with God. And I know and I understand, that everything happens for a reason. That he left because there is a reason behind. But until now I'm still not getting used to it. We are not used to it. I miss him. We miss him. Who'll not? He's the reason why I am here, why my siblings are here and my mom that's still fighting. We all die and we know that. But what I really don't understand is why did he left us? He's too young. 52? No way! We're 10 in the family including him and mom. And now that he's gone, a piece of my heart was gone too. A piece of our hearts were teared apart.

MEMORIES.

It's hunting us. It really is. Those times that we all go together to the church to attend the mass. (We're not complete here.)

Those celebrations that we happily celebrate together; birthdays, family days, new years and many more.

Those smiles that we see from your lips. Those road trips that were fun. The guy that we love. We miss him.

INVISIBLE.

We can't see you but we can feel you. Mom, my brothers and sisters feel you. We can feel you. (Not complete again. )

LOVE.

Even if you're not here physically, we know you are guiding and protecting us. Our love for you won't change. (That's me on the right.)

EMPTINESS.

Well everybody will feel this too. Losing someone you love would make you feel empty for the rest of your life. Maybe there are times that you feel overjoyed with other things, but when you go back to it, emptiness won't leave you. It'll stay with you until the end.

It hurts to think that you are not here anymore. Although we can’t help but smile with tears in our eyes to think of how we cherished each and every moment of our lives together when you were alive. I miss you dad. We all miss you Dad. :(
