Work Hard Play Harder

A year after I joined the team, we finally had a Team Building / Christmas Party that was held yesterday December 13, 2017. This usually happens every quarter but on my current team, we work 24x7x365. We have different days off and schedules so the whole team are not allowed be out together often.

The team building was held on the place called L'Acqua Atmosfera. Upon entering the venue you will be welcomed by these little Santas on a parachute under the colorful umbrellas. Christmas is really just around the corner.

There are also a lot of resting place in the venue that you can choose depending on your mood.

You can sit here while listening to your favorite music and relax with your bestfriend.

You can swing your thoughts while talking about life and future with your friends while the 2 geese bravely guarding you.

On this next one, these tiki's will blow your stress away. With the seaside feel of the area, you can unwind and have some drink or play card games.

But my favorite is the Hammock made that is made of bamboo. At first I did not trust durability. With me weighing almost 190 Pounds I was amazed that this cute little hammock can carry me and gave me quality 15 minute nap after we ate lunch. I felt like a baby again as the hammock swings me from left to right. The 15 minute nap was like an ovenight sleep. This is a must have. I gotta buy one for me soon. No! Now!

People have different moods on different days. This small sports and recreation area balanced the relaxing ambiance of the venue. On this part of the resort, there is a standard billiard table and a dart board accross it. I still can remember how I save up my money in school just to play billiards on my break time. OK! OK! OK! I cut classes to play billiards on a few occasions. We'll we all been there. Those times that we do not think of our future and only want to enjoy the present.

But wait, this Filipino favorite could not be left out. The Karaoke!!!

And finally my favorite... The chicha (food). Grilled pork belly and milk fish stuffed with diced onions, tomatoes and ginger. YUMMY!!! You're outside but the foods feels and tastes like home.

I really enjoyed the day spent with my teammates. I hope we can do this more often than once a year to keep the team solid.
