New Year, New You!

Good Morning and Happy Friday to all my Fellow Steemians!
Happy First week of JAN 2018.

ANYONE, who writes a "New Year, New You" post
...is talking complete nonsense - and here is why...

Firstly.
Its not even good advice.

Success comes from constant small tweaks and improvements, not wholesale changes.

Secondly.
Its just f*cking meme based clickbait.

Just like detox diets, joining the gym and "resolutions"...it is a fatuous attempt to cash in on the annual circle jerk of "promising to be better this year - honest", that a certain kind of people use to feel temporarily better about themselves...without actually doing anything consistently.

Thirdly
They don't even follow their own shit advice

It is a whole new year and people who spent all last year producing trite and useless content are doing the same old rubbish this year.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR...

Try these instead:

1. Be yourself (you are awesome after all!)
2. Accept that all of your past success has come from you being yourself.
3. Commit to being the same person...
4. Pick one or two new/better/improved results that you want to achieve
5. Do consistent actions to make those results happen
6. Laugh at all the people trying to be "new"
