An Army Battalion Commander met with 3 ranking leaders of the New People's Army in Surigao to establish acquaintances, trust and confidence.
The meeting was held to iron out conflicts in the of the interim suspension of offensive operations.
During the meeting, Col Rico Amaro invited them (the NPA) on a friendly dragon boat match in the seas of Surigao.
