Have you ever wondered where do souls go?What comes after death? If everything that has or will be ever be here, then where do all the new souls come from? There are many questions arises regarding the life after death. Here are some of the answers in various sector in the community either in religions, experiences, choices and other realms.

Doctors and Scientist Explaination
The master of hypnotherapist name Michael Newton who holds doctorate in counselling psychology who give fascinating lecture on lives in between physical lives. Based on his early years he had been a complete sceptic regarding life after death and when his patients asked if he could help them to discover what their previous lives might have been he had resisted any such procedures believing it would serve no useful purpose in his patients treatment. He often mentions how after leaving the physical body each individual soul is automatically drawn to its correct tonal frequency or dimension. The specific blueprint for each incarnation depends upon the dimension or frequency from which they have come. And when enlightened masters physically die and leave his dimension, their souls return to their specific dimension or frequency. Also, everyone passing over (unless they are highly evolved souls and know exactly where they are going) is met either by their guides or by a loved relative, even if that loved one has already reincarnated.

Religious beliefs

Some belief systems, such as those in the Abrahamic tradition, hold that the dead go to a specific plane of existence after death, as determined by God, or other divine judgment, based on their actions or beliefs during life.

Judaism

In Judaism, the oldest of the three major Abrahamic religions, there is a belief that death is not the end of human existence. Judaism, however, is more focused on living here and now and therefore there is no well- defined dogma regarding an afterlife. John Renard, in his The Handy Religion Answer Book, writes:

“Surprisingly little detailed information on the afterlife is given in the Hebrew scriptures, and mostly in the very latest material at that.”
The afterlife is called Olam Ha-Ba (The World to Come). Within Judaism there is a range of beliefs regarding what happens after death which may include reincarnation, resurrection, temporary punishment, and even heaven.

Christianity

One of the popular visions of Heaven and Hell in literature is from The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri in which he makes an imaginary journey through Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven. Dante provides a vivid description of Hell which has provided a foundation for many beliefs regarding the afterlife. Rosemary Hale, in her entry on Christianity in World Religions, writes:

“While distinctions exist among Christians about what qualifies one for salvation or damnation, it is a tradition of all denominations that the saved will spend eternity rewarded in the paradise of heaven while the damned will be punished forever in hell.”

Islam

In Islam, as in the other Abrahamic religions, there is the belief that the soul continues to exist after death. Death is seen not as an ending, but a return to God, the source of all things.
In contrast, in systems of reincarnation, such as those in the Indian religions, the nature of the continued existence is determined directly by the actions of the individual in the ended life, rather than through the decision of different being.
existence often takes place in a spiritual realm, and in other popular views, the individual may be reborn into this world and begin the life cycle over again, likely with no memory of what they have done in the past. In this latter view, such rebirths and deaths may take place over and over again continuously until the individual gains entry to a spiritual realm.

Buddhism

According to Buddhism, after death one is either reborn into another body (reincarnated) or enters nirvana. Only Buddhas (those who have attained enlightenment) will achieve nirvana. The Buddha said of death:
Life is a journey. Death is a return to earth. The universe is like an inn. The passing years are like dust. Regard this phantom world As a star at dawn, a bubble in a stream, A flash of lightning in a summer cloud, A flickering lamp - a phantom - and a dream.
Based on his no-soul (anatta) doctrine, the Buddha described reincarnation, or the taking on of a new body in the next life, in a different way than the traditional Indian understanding. He compared it to lighting successive candles using the flame of the preceding candle. Although each flame is causally connected to the one that came before it, is it not the same flame. Thus, in Buddhism, reincarnation is usually referred to as "transmigration."

Personal Opinion:

Yes, I believe in the afterlife. You see, both life and death have always been elusive. Up until now we haven’t totally understood those forces that cause such complex existence. It is the same reason why religious dogmas existed. The very reason why I believe in the after life is because of human consciousness. That consciousness that lets us know our very existence. That consciousness that makes us more aware than the other species existing with us. I just believe our consciousness do not degrade when our body ceases to exist and that it continues to exist as an experience as it returns to where it came from. That’s why it is important to experience everything in life. Too learn it’s lesson, to enjoy what it can offer. To feel it and lastly to live it. We don’t know for sure what’s actually there after death. There are myriads of assumptions out there. But I know one thing is for sure, life should be more than just existing then later dying.

Thank you my friend @good54.
I want to know your opinion in this afterlife.

I think there's something there. But I'm not sure.

Great post, sometimes these things get complicated as many people have their beliefs. I have heard a lot about reincarnation and sometimes we humans experience things like dejavu I have experienced that many times and we also go to another realm which is dreaming while we sleep. It’s something really deep. I really do respect your opinion as it’s very thoughtful. Thanks for sharing this

I'm on the fence when it comes to believing in the afterlife knowing that different beliefs have different thoughts about it. Sometimes I feel like I do believe about it, sometimes I don't.

I'm an atheist and don't believe in an afterlife

May i ask what atheist beliefs in after death?

brain activity ceases and the body decays
