CANYONEERING, AN EXTREME AND MUST-TRY ADVENTURE IN CEBU PHILIPPINES ❤

Have you heard of Canyoneering in your country? Here in the Philippines, we have plenty of this strenuous activity because we are rich in mountain ranges, waterfalls, rivers and streams which are the platforms for such exciting activity 😉

What is Canyoneering?

This is the sport of exploring a canyon by engaging in such activities as rappelling, rafting, and waterfall jumping.

Isn't it exciting? 😂 I cant help myself but to experience this while I still can 👍 Scary isn't it? But as the adage says, if it scares you, it must be a good thing to try! 😉

CANYONEERING @ BADIAN CEBU

Badian Cebu is famous for it's breathtaking waterfalls, white beaches, mountain ranges and canyons which is why this is one of the well-known tourist destination in Cebu, Philippines.

The Kawasan Falls (known waterfalls in Badian) is a three-layered waterfall and a good venue for canyoneering tours. The activity starts at upstream of the Kawasan Falls, where the Matutinao river flows through a secluded canyon up to the last but the tallest falls.

HOW TO GET THERE 💡

Please make reservations ahead of time. This activity is best when tried in groups. (haha, imagine jumping off those cliffs without the crowd cheers 😂. Take it from me, it boosts your confidence 😉)

We took the bus from Cebu City, has instructions already as to where is the meet up place. Known to us Filipinos is the Kita ta's MCDO . We had our breakfast there ☺ You need to eat guys. This is not a pampering kind of tour but a totally opposite one 😅

After waiting for half an hour to complete the group, we were now taken by a jeepney to the store where we had the preparations, orientations before the big event! 😱

Viola! we had 2 gorgeous ladies from England, Abby and Sky. They love the Philippines too and promised to be back soon! 😍

Then, we had the orientation for the dos and donts when doing the activity. Ofcourse, we need to take pictures of these moments 😉

The only boy in the group is our tour guide. He's very witty, funny and a recommendable tour guide. 👍

This 3hours activity starts with a 30mins walk.😱 Because we have started this already, there is no turning back 😅 Dont forget your drinking waters guys 👍

We have 7 cliff jumping activities and I successfully finished 6 out of 7. Eventhough I had the best cheering crowd, my goodness, I cant make it to the 3rd and highest cliff which is the tallest waterfalls 😱😅

I'm still very proud of myself. I have endured the pain, bruises, muscle cramps, overall body aches 😂
I have done it! Thank you Lord 😇

This is a super duper unforgettable experience of my life!Don't worry, this is a safe tour guys with the permits, licenses, safety measures and all. A truly one of a kind experience that would test your total body capabilities. You will never know, unless you try! 😉
