Cebu's Castle Church - Simala Shrine : Architecturalphotography

My wife and I tried to visit different churches as much as possible almost every Sunday. As a Catholic tradition we tried to go to church with the family. So last Sunday we decided to go to Sibonga Cebu for there famous castle Church named Simala Shrine. We visited the place a couple of times but this time they even expanded the structure, there are still areas that were under constructions and some areas that are still unpainted.

Brief story and what to see

As I read the history of the Shrine, the Church Castle was built for the Blessed Mother Mary by the monks. The most interesting part is that if you happen to visit the place, there are lots of memorabilia from people who are grateful for they were healed from various physical illness. Some are grateful for they pass the board exams, and others gave thanks for having a great careers.
