My Other Half

So, my husband is on Steemit! (@gerardpizarras)

He is not a blogger; very far from being one, actually. He is quite verbose, but, never on a written platform. He can talk for hours, but cringes at the thought of writing a paragraph. So guys, THIS IS A BREAKTHROUGH!

I've been married to him since 2000 and he just gets better each year. He is not perfect, but he is always open to comments and suggestions (parang restaurant lang haha!). He is a true Christian, fearing, loving, and serving God with all of his heart, mind, and strength. I can vouch for that; but just like me, he is still a work in progress and relying 100% on His grace.

As an actor, it's so hard to work with him because he is a very good one. I often feel short of talent when I work on-camera with him. After all, he was really into acting since his high school years. Yeah, he is one underrated actor; and he doesn't mind. He goes to work, gets the job done, and goes on with his real-life responsibilities. That simple.

He often drives me to work. And he doesn't mind. He says that he loves to do it. He also used to give me hour-long massages, but he needs it more now than I do. Driving the kids to school before we decided to homeschool was also his daily task. Very, very diligent and hands-on Daddy.

Gerard is an athlete and a certified fitness trainer. His recent role in "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin" is very close to his real self. He is, in fact, my personal trainer; always available, at home or outdoors; lucky me!
