Wonderful 2017 With Steemit

So it is the first day of 2018! 2017 has its ups and downs, but we should look for the positive things the year has given. I am very glad Steemit has been one of the positive and great things which happened in my life for 2017.

How my Steemit journey started

That was the last week on August when sir @iwrite has been posting on Facebook about Steemit. I initially just ignoring his post. But his persistent posting took my attention. We had exchange of conversations and even some friends, so I decided to join Steemit. I was approved a day after, and immediate created my introductory post.

Reading at my introduction post at this moment, I actually feel there's something lacking. Nobody actually guided me. I thought it's the same blogging platform I had joined before. I could have written a more proper introductory post. In fact, this post only earned a few cents!

My journey on Steemit, has never been easy. It has its ups and downs. A lot of my blog posts haven't actually earned anything. In fact, some of them earned cents or even 0.00. I never gave up because of the positive things I heard about Steemit.

There are great people on Steemit. @surpassinggoogle is such an inspiration who always creates encouraging posts for Steemit users. He highlights how special everyone is, particularly minnows like me. If you'll check his posts, you can see how members love him.

Surge on Steemit earnings

I am earning decently on Steemit on my first three months based on the value of Steem-Backed Dollars (SBD), but as December came, it is surging. My earnings has been surging. I am very happy to see the digits on my Bitcoin wallet increasing as well.

Steemit achievements

I cannot say I am one of the fast achievers, but I consider little success as achievements. For 124 days of being a Steemian, I already have 59 reputation. I am so glad that I haven't achieved this without the help of wonderful Steemians who always check on my posts. I have written tons of posts, and my readers continued to watch my posts even the nonsense stuff. Lol!

Steemit DIversify

I am a member of Steemit Diversify which was established by @iwrite and @antonette. I am glad to meet some good friends who are ready to help other Steemians. May the plans for the year of our group even flourish more!

The community of #freewrite and #gratefulvibes

I come to learn about #freewrite from ate @bloghound, who's been an online friend for years from different blogging and social media platform. The #freewrite community was organized by @mariannewest and it is growing. I am already a member for two months of the community!

I also found #freewrite from ate @bloghound and this community was established by sir @paradise-found. More positivity in this community. Thanks ate @bloghound for bringing me in this community!

Writing continues

I have written tons of posts here, and I cannot claim everything has substance. Lol! It actually depends on readers who reads them and I am very happy that they are not leaving my write-ups despite some of them may lacks sense. Lol!

Poetry

I have been writing poetry and sharing them here on Steemit. I am thankful for the good words. I am aiming to write more poetry, something that speaks more soul.

Photography

When I started here on Steemit, I am posting photography blog posts. I will try my best to captured prettier photos and share them. But hopefully, I m gonna have a DSLR camera to capture the photos!

I will explore more of what I can offer

I will try my best to explore more of what I can share, what I can offer. I know I haven't written some stuff that are out of my comfort zone, and that's something I have to explore.

Referring people

I actually referred some members here and they were more than 5. Two were my online friends from other earning websites. While many of them were my personal friends here in Pangasinan. I am referring family members here as well. It might be the beginning of Steemit community in Pangasinan. I know sir @dwightjaden is in Pangasinan as well and started one in their community.

More power Philippine community on Steemit

The Philippine community has been flourishing. We are expecting more success of Steemians in the Philippines, and we Filipinos are all part of it. More power kabayans!

I will guide some newbies

Besides posting guides for newbies, I am literally guiding some about what to post. I asking some who I referred if they are good as drawing, then share some of their artworks. Some may be good at graphics, then try utopian.io. Lots to learn and lots to share on Steemit.

Conclusion

Steemit has been a wondeful platform and I am aiming and hoping growth of the community, and success for every Steemians.
