Some Facts About Pangasinan #1: Lingayen, Binmaley, Bolinao

I am a native of Pangasinan, and I had written a lot about our beautiful province. But there are some facts that many might not know about the province. Here are some of them.

Lingayen

• The Provincial Capitol Building was built in 2017, and its Americanized design was due to the fact it was designed by Daniel Burnham. It was where the main offices of the province including the Governor's was located. Do you know that this building is among those included by NCAA as Eight Architectural Treasures of the country? By the design from interior and exterior, you can notice glamour on it.

• Daniel Maramba is from whom Maramba Boulevard Park was named, but he was not a native of Lingayen (where the park is located) rather he's from Sta. Barbara. He's among the heroes of Pangasinan.

• Alvear Street is among those oldest roads in Lingayen. This road was lined by two elementary schols, two high schools, and two college campuses.

• Lingayen Beach is currently boosting tourism of the town. It's part of the Lingayen Gulf.

• Lingayen Baywalk was constructed to boost tourism and to connect the coasts of Lingayen and Binmaley. Currently, its connection to Dagupan City is under construction.

• That tower you can see is Sual Power Plant which was currently operated by San Miguel. It was formerly the NAPOCOR Power Plant.

Binmaley

• This is the common bus stop for those living at the norther part of Binmaley. They call this Istasyon which was shaped into triangle, and further enhancement was made.

• Binmaley is the common town where migratory birds such as egrets migrate during the months of December up to March, and April sometimes.

Bolinao

• This is Balingasay River in Bolinao, which was among the cleanest river in the country. You can have river cruise there and have your meal at Sungayan Grill.
