RE: LAZI Church, a National Cultural Treasure in Siquijor Island, Philippines
I would love to see that beautiful building renovated @immarojas.
Even if not used as a church it could be put to use in the community perhaps. One of our local churches has now been turned into a health centre of all things, but they've done a good job of it and preserved much of the building.
It would be a shame to see it disintegrate even more..😢
The ceiling, stone walls, wooden floor as far as I can see are ok...it's not in use for church services but for other stuff i dunno as it's empty. The wooden floor is shiny so I dunno Gillian. I hope they are still using it for other means but there's no electricity there too.
It's been nominated as an Unesco site so perhaps there's hope there?
