Explore Ilocos~ Tanap Avis Falls
My Ilocos. I had so much fun running around the beautiful beaches and historic towns in my home province that even if I am in the Middle East, I can’t get over how I am so in love exploring my hometown.
I always verbally express Ilocos Region has a lot to offer. Full of beauty, charm and adventure landscapes to beaches, to local cuisines and of course Ilocano people.
Tanap Avis Falls in the town of Burgos in Ilocos Norte.
The basin is shallow you will relish and relax with the cold water but the part where the water falls is so deep. If you are a swimmer, this place is best to take a cliff dive. It is such a relief to see and watch the waterfalls. The view is so worth the sweat. It is indisputably very rewarding place after a long walk. My photos taken are surely don’t give equity of the place. All I can say is go there and see to believe it.
This Tanap-Avis Falls experience is one of my most favorite waterfall trips in my entire life, you know why? I’ve been there for the fourth time and still can’t contain the elegance of the falls and its ambiance. The stunning waterscape and the trail experience. Indeed, a total worthwhile experience.
Best time to go here is right after the rainy season so there will be plenty of water. I am not recommending you on a summer time. You will just be disappointed because the place is drained.
The place is so much potential for tourism. Hopefully, this place will be kept and forfended very well. I would definitely go back again when I got home.
Let me end you with this,— Please don’t ruin our paradise so we won’t have to tell our future children how we used to have a beautiful tourist spot-so they can experience it themselves.
