Philippines El Nido drone video 航拍
T&L ranked El Nido 2 years in a raw with the best beaches in the world. We all know to take that with a big grain of beach sand. However, amazing videos online did inspire me to take a recent trip there.
Yes, the scenery can be amazing and the sharp-edged spires of the rock formation on some of the beaches can be otherworldly. But, I would only recommend El Nido for the hardened and intrepid travelers....with a few caveats-
If you can overlook trashes on the pristine beaches....
If you can tolerate insect bites that seem to itch for days on....
If you can live without wifi or only with at most 3-star amenities....
If you can find amusement in having to hop over puddles of muddy water on narrow lanes....
If you can get used to Filipino style cuisine and substandard sanitation which may cause occasional traveler's diarrhea....
If you can develop a sudden apathy for all the stray dogs....
Then, you will be rewarded with views like these in my drone video-
