Peace tayo!

On our way to meet Apo Whang Od, the last traditional tattoo artist of her generation in the Philippines, we took a side trip in the Banaue Rice Terraces. The place is known for, well, its rice terraces, which can be seen at the background of this photo.

The view is breathtaking. For the first time in a long while, I had chills appreciating nature. It was beautifully made by God or whoever is capable of doing that.

At the viewing deck of such famous tourist spot where we stopped for about 15 minutes, the indigenous ladies were waiting for guests to take a picture with them for a small donation. I obliged since I wanted a remembrance.

The photo above captured the candidness of the moment. I told them to do a wacky pose, but with their difficulty in understanding English, I showed them how to do the peace sign - only because the dab is quite a challenge for them.

Focus your attention on the leftmost woman. She is too cute and that smile she gave me upon getting my instruction is gold.
