This is an unripe robusta variety of coffee cherry. Robusta is known to have 2% caffeine by weight and is 2nd to the most produced coffees in the world. Next to Arabica.

Being in a coffee world, it is my first time to see a coffee cherry, unfortunately, it is yet to be made to a cup. As coffee cherries can be said to be ready for process once it turns red and sweet aromatic.

Robusta trees are also known to grow in a lower elevation compare to 3000ft above sea level at minimum for arabica, which is why this is easier to grow and harvest. And this tree is expected to grow up to 20ft, that is why pruning is substancial for any coffee trees to produce more cherries and ease of harvesting.
