How to unlock the bootloader of your android device

Requirements:
-Windows PC/Laptop(Prefered Operating System: Windows 7 to avoid invalid driver signature errors)
-PDA Net Driver
-ADB Setup 1.4.3

Unlocking the bootloader:
1.Install the PDA Net Driver

2.Install the ADB Setup 1.4.3

3.Enable Developer options in your phone.To enable developer options:
-Go to settings, then About Phone
-Scroll down and look for Build Number and tap it for 7 times.
-You will receive a message saying "You are now a developer"

4.After enabling Developer Options turn it on and enable the following settings:
-OEM Unlocking
-USB Debugging

5.After enabling, connect your phone to the PC and make sure the phone is detected and installed properly.To test if you have successfully installed it:
-Go to the adb folder found in C:\adb
-Hold Shift then right click, then select Open command window here
-Then type this code: adb devices
-This will promt your phone to authorize the PC
-Tap on the box authorize on your phone then allow.

6.If your device is now detected, we can now proceed to unlocking. (Note: Unlocking the bootloader will reset your phone to factory settings)
-In the command prompt window, enter the code: adb reboot bootloader
-Then enter this code: fastboot oem unlock
-The phone will promt you to Unlock the bootloader. Volume up for yes and Volume down for no. Press Volume up to
start unlocking bootloader.
-After unlocking is completed reboot your device by typing this code: fastboot reboot

7.You have now successfully unlocked the bootloader.

Once your phone has booted up go to settings and enable Developer Options again and turn on USB Debugging.(This will be used in flashing files through fastboot ex. Custom Recovery)
