White Rock Formation | Madalag, Aklan | Dumbfounding River
Hello steemins. Another tourist attraction here in our Province of Aklan that i would like to share to you in Madalag, Aklan located in Barangay Maria Cristina. It is the Liktinon White Rock Formation.
Traveling from Kalibo to Madalag it a bit hard because of the rough road. But when you reach the Liktinon it would be worth it. You can enjoy the green scenery and it is also a sunctuary of some endemic species of hornbills and deer.
Liktinon White Rocks, a natural rock formation along the Timbaban River.
The water of Liktinon is from a virgin jungle valley that belongs to the Aklan River Watershed Forest Reserve it is surrounded by forest.
It's is officially declared an eco-tourism site by the municipal government of Madalag.
Liktinon got its name from the Aklanon word "liktin" which means to jump.
