Birhen sa Simala Church
Last summer I happened to visit Cebu with my friend for two days. The first place I visited was the sculpture of Miraculous Mother Mary at the Monastery of the Holy Eucharist is located at Marian Hills, Lindogon, Simala, Sibonga, Cebu, Philippines. The holy place is commonly known by locals as “Birhen Sa Simala Church”, filled with miraculous testimonials from devotees, believers and visitors who witnessed the event during the shedding of blood tears of Mother Mary’s image.
It was a long ride from the main road. We only rode motorcycle to go up since we were not able to have my friend's car in going there. When we arrived at the place, there were a lot of visitors that were also visiting the place. There were also a lot of souvenirs like tshirts, bracelets and etc that you can buy outside the gates of the church. Another store inside the gates were there were rosaries, and other religious things that you can buy. Luckily we were able to attend the 12nn mass at the church. Inside the church you can really feel the holiness of the mass and you will fell inlove with the beauty of the place!
