the process of tornado

in #phenomenon7 years ago

Tornado disaster usually occurs when entering the transition season, can occur during the day or afternoon The phase of the tornado has a close relationship with the growing phase of cumulonimbus clouds. The phase of the tornado is:

Growing Phase: In this phase, inside the cloud there is an upwardly rising air current with very strong pressure. In this phase the process of rain has not been down because the water point and ice crystals are still stuck by the air currents that move up to the top of the cloud.

Adult Phase: in this phase, the water point that can no longer be retained by the fade will rise to the top of the cloud. Then the rain will fall and cause a friction between the rising and falling air currents. In this phase also, the temperature of the decreased air mass has a cooler temperature when compared to the surrounding air. As the air currents rise and fall will cause a rotating shear and form a vortex. The longer the airflow will accelerate and form a cyclone that "licks" the earth. And that's called the whirlwind.
Extinction Phase: in this phase, no air mass rises but the air mass will extend across the cloud. As time goes by, this period will stop and cloud growth will end
