Proof linking my (arhag) identity across various websites and services

in #pgp-identities8 years ago

I, arhag, who controls the private keys to the PGP key with
ID 0B9238C2
(full fingerprint is 04D2 65B3 1020 AAE1 04EC D035 C25D 64A3 0B92 38C2)
as proven by the attached signature of this message,
claim that I do currently (as of May 1, 2016) control the following accounts:

ServiceAccount nameLink
Steemarhaghttps://steemd.com/@arhag
BitSharesarhaghttps://cryptofresh.com/u/arhag
GitHubarhaghttps://github.com/arhag
Bitcointalk Forumarhaghttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=358999
Bitsharestalk Forumarhaghttps://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18133
Redditarhaghttps://www.reddit.com/user/arhag

Note that this is only my claim that I own these accounts.
To verify that I own them you also would need proof of the claim in the other direction.

The reverse direction proof for the Steem account is implicit by the fact that I am posting
this message on Steem under the arhag account.

The reverse direction proof for the BitShares account is provided via cryptofresh.com
(which in turn has a mechanism to verify that a name on cryptofresh is only controlled
by the BTS account of the same name, other than the operator of the site of course)
by this link.
I may later provide a better proof that doesn't require you to trust cryptofresh
as an intermediary.

The reserve direction proof for the GitHub account is provided on the profile page by the link
that points to my arhag account on the Steemit website.

The reverse direction proof for the Bitcointalk Forum account is provided on the profile page
by the fact that the website link points to my arhag account on the Steemit website.

The reverse direction proof for the Bitsharestalk Forum account is provided on the profile page
by either the website link as was the case with the Bitcointalk profile or by the fact that
the PGP fingerprint on the profile is the same as the one of the key signing this message.

The reverse direction proof for the Reddit account is provided by
this Reddit post.

I will comment on this post using Steem to provide any updates I need to make to the
the information above.

Below you will find the raw Markdown source of the above content as well as the the PGP
signature of the raw Markdown source which you can use to verify that it is in fact signed by
the key that the message above claims to be signed by.

This post will be the parent for any updates needed to the above.
Note that since I have already linked my Steem account to my PGP key, I will no longer need to sign every post using my PGP key for people to know that it is still controlled by the same person (as long as I keep my Steem private keys safe but the same is true for PGP private keys). So when posting on Steem I won't bother signing anymore and I will assume that you are viewing these comments through a client that you trust as much as you would your PGP software.

UPDATE 1:

I also control the account arhag on the Steem Slack.
The reverse direction proof is on my profile in the Steem Slack.

And for those of you who don't want to use a key server, I have already posted my full PGP public key here.

Interesting, i want to learn more. I mine crypto's would it benefit steemit to offer my miner to a witness? I would love to mine for an SP lease? My beast rack mines $13.50 a day for me with coins down, it will go back up greatly! 20180227_111228.jpg
