Little Lucius was a chunky adorable pup. His canines were so long, they protruded over his lips...my little Dracula haha.
Luna means "moon", and Lucius means "light"...so together they are " moonlight ".
Luna seemed to mature and become calmer almost overnight. At the beginning she was jealous, but soon played with him and took on the role of mentor.

He was a breath of fresh air. Like a toddler, he was into everything, nothing was sacred. He was very observant. He watched my every move, and soon knew where everything in the house was kept. He would notice immediately when any item was moved. He also learned very quickly how to open doors and windows.
He became a regular Houdini, an adept escapologist. I had to fix bolts onto all of the doors, and chains on the windows. image-0-02-05-bae2d34c2a1f4ff5eab0d68af91e5608c0f07f4ad7c51e16bacbedd5d22a86dc-V.jpg

I have to hide things while Lucius is outside.
I definitely can't say my life is dull. 😀

Sort:

I have come to believe some time ago that pets, cats and dogs, are kids that never grow up

They sure are....children in fur suits. 😀

I think pets are worse than children - at least you can send children to bed early if they are getting on top of you :-)

Sometimes I wonder who is the pet...but yes, there are days when I have decided to go to bed earlier after making their beds and crating Lucius and Booboo. Luna stays loose to keep watch.
But then they get their own back on me by waking me early too with their "singing". (Good thing I don't have close neighbours).

Nice to see that they have trained their human well. I know ours have. Around the same time every morning we get a dawn chorus letting us know we have spent too long in bed and its time to get up and start breakfast. I wouldn't mind but it is 5.30 every morning!!

Well thank goodness my pack are not such early risers, well they have realised now that I don't answer until I'm ready. Although Luna has tried several ruses ...first of all she feigned vomiting. That worked a few times until I realised that as soon as I had run down the stairs to let her out she just stood there all wiggly and pleased with herself.
Then she tried the "I can't breathe" gasping technique. Again, she miraculously recovered as soon as I appeared. These ploys could take place at an time of the night. Now I just shout "diva...go back to sleep" and she sighs loudly and is quiet. I've never before had dogs like these.

We tried the 'ignore them and they will stop' ploy. Didn't work :-(

Your dogs sound full of character.
