PETLIFE: VETERINARY TELEMEDICINE BLOCKCHAIN BASED SERVICE

Pets have been known as man best friend globally, over the years more pets have been acquired for different reasons known to man and it has been statistically proven for 100 million pets by the year 2025. Over time, the numbers of pets keep increasing without respect to veterinary telemedicine to care for the pets acquired which brings about death coupled with health issued. The problem lies in the unavailability of enough veterinary telemedicine locations and where they are located. This brings about shortage in veterinary care at high cost with the annual growth rate of the pets.
This has led to the innovation of the of the PETLIFE project, a platform based on blockchain technology for pet owners, veterinary care providers, farmers, industrial producers of poultry and meat in giving solutions to the numbers and life span of pets, growing cost services especially in locations where vets are not enough. This will enable pet owners easily source solutions in caring for their pets and animals via the PETLIFE platform. The PETLIFE platform will allow consultation online and eliminate problems of vet shortage by uniting veterinarians in different continents.
The project which works via blockchain technology will bring about keeping electronic medical records and keeping appointments. This data history on the pets keeps good information in prescription for the pet. Other advantages include video consultation, billing in cryptocurrency and flat rate currency without international conversion fee, emergency care response, post-surgery, and assistance in vaccination, behavior issue and training, micro chipping of farm animals.
