And your God might be alcohol, sex, gambling, hiking, looking at birds for too long, being excited about world building, geopolitics, depravity, murder, money...
But the most powerful version of God is when it is more abstract, since then we are allowed to exercise our agency to a more complete degree and maybe more importantly, we can sculpt ourselves into whatever we thinking is right
