SNAKE VINE FLOWERS. (Hibbertia Scandens)
This is my entry for this weeks #yellowflower contest hosted by @petals and initiated by @adrianobalan and @sardrt
Snake Vine Plants (Hibbertia Scandens) flower for most of the year. These hardy, Australian plants thrive in coastal areas and make excellent ground covers as they tolerate salty, windy conditions. They grow well over embankments, pergolas and buildings.
The dark green glossy foliage make an appealing contrast to the bold yellow flowers. They form effective hedges and also grow well in pots.
Snake Vine plants love the sun and like a lot of Australian natives do not need a lot of looking after. The fruit of the Snake Vines are characterized by segments of bright orange segments with a black seed.
Thank you for viewing. Have a great day.

Pretty yellow flowers, Trudee, These are the kind of flowers I like because they grow well without being fussed over.
Thank you Joanne. Yes, I agree with your sentiments and when living in Australia we need a few plants like these that are virtually self sufficient. Thank goodness nature bestows us well with her versatility.
I don't know this flower but it's beautiful. Good luck my friend 😊
