Sometimes I can hardly contain my joy when I see another perennial flower show up in the garden. The blossom on this Columbine is being highlighted by the Eastern sun rising early in the morning. I just love how the veins in the petals stand out in this photo. Enjoy your gardening everyone.

I am glad you are doing better. It has been a rough couple weeks for us here too. We have been working really hard at transforming some of the gardens and also preparing to have our largest tree removed. My husband is having surgery on a shoulder next Tuesday so we are doing a lot to prepare as he will be out of commission for a whole year. ugh. so we have been really busy finishing up some summer projects.
Wow. A year's a long time to be out of commission. I can understand your working hard now to get things done.
