The contests of Petals - Yellow Flower Day. Yellow small yoshits with light flavor.

in #petals6 years ago

The strange word "yoshta" - of German origin, formed from the confluence of two words - "currant" and "gooseberry", means a hybrid of these two cultures. This plant is not a child of nature, but, in the full sense of the word, a product of the scientific and technological revolution. Breeders set out to cross the black currant and gooseberry in the hope of bringing out the ideal berry culture.

Yoshta is a long, tall, fluffy berry shrub. With increased growth force, Yoshita shoots can reach a height of one and a half meters. It is noteworthy that on yoshte, unlike the gooseberries, there are no thorns at all. The leaves of the plant are dark green, large in size, shiny, do not fall for a long time and do not contain the aroma of currants. Flowering Yoshits is yellow, large and bright flowers. Big size berries, black, with a light patina of violet color. The sweet and sour taste is mostly contained in a thick crust of berries.

The plant differs from dark green leaves that do not inherit the characteristic currant aroma. Blooms bright flowers with a slight aroma that can self-pollinate. But it is better to plant it not far from the gooseberry or currant, so that insects are pollinated.

Thank's to @kalemandra for starting this wonderful challenge.
Thanks to @sardrt and @adrianobalan for creating @petals and the #petals contests.
