These are the newest arrivals on my balcony. So I wanted to enter them for @petals #flowers competition. They are Bengal trumpet flowers. I love the way sunlight seems to pour out of the centre of the flowers. I have grown these from a small cutting I took before moving house in January. They have now grown into established plants and just a coupe of days ago I excitedly noticed the first flower buds emerging.

As the plants mature even further The flowers increase in number and hang in groups cascading downward in waterfalls of heavenly petals and colours. I shall update my photos as this wonder of nature progresses.
