Today we start with a small selection of some flowers that we want to show you.
We like to start this gallery with a flower that is about to bloom, even in our countryside, and that has always been much loved by painters, one among all Vincent van Gogh but also Leonardo da Vinci, Durer, Renoir, Cezanne, Gauguin and Claude Monet have painted this flower.
We are talking about the Iris
Iris is the Greek word for “rainbow,” referring to the wide variety of colors of this flowers and in Greek mythology, Iris is the personification of the rainbow.
