Pet Fun With Penny
Here is Penny, Chinese Crested Hairless. She is mother of Jade. As Jade is having long double coat, Penny got very little fur. The hairless dog needs special care unlike any other dog. For a start a cupboard full with cloths. During cold days Penny got jackets and jumpers and for the warmer days t-shirts. The skin is very much like human skin. Another interesting fact is that hairless dogs do sweat. The skin needs the same care like ours, regular wash, moisturising and to be protected from the sun. Yes, Penny is having sun tan in summer.

And because she has so much in common with us, she likes to sleep on the pillow just like human. Basically she spends most of the time sleeping. Not surprising as she is pretty old. Sadly I don't know her age. We got both dogs four and half years ago. The previous owner did not know how old Penny might be. I can only guess she is over 10 years old.
