You're already a sucker for a good horoscope reading, but for something a little more specific—astrology can be annoyingly vague—the enduring Myers-Briggs personality test is a good option. The test—a method by which psychologists can categorize people—may also be used to determine the sex positions you'll enjoy most, at least according to Astroglide's resident sexologist Dr. Jess O'Reilly, who breaks it down for you, below.
Don't know your type? Take the quiz here.
ISTJ: The Snake
"You’re serious, thorough, and practical, so your favorite sex position should be too," says Dr. Jess. A simple and efficient position like the snake should fulfill your deepest desires. You lie on your stomach, and your partner enters from behind. It's easy to access your clitoris, and it requires little to no movement on your part.
ISFJ: The CAT

The ISFJ is "an accurate and considerate lover who enjoys order and harmony," according to Dr. Jess. And what could be more harmonious than the coital-alignment technique (CAT)? It stimulates the penis and clitoris at the same time, and it's often recommended by sex therapists for women who want to orgasm during intercourse. It's a bit like missionary, except your partner moves forward so that your clit is grinding against the base of the penis or strap-on.
INFJ: The Rock Away
INFJs are all about pleasing and connecting with their partners, so they appreciate a position that lets both people gaze into one another's eyes. For this one you both sit facing each other with your legs bent and feet on the bed, Dr. Jess explains. "Shimmy toward one another to rock, rub, and grind to your heart’s content."
INTJ: Standing Rear Entry
INTJs are perfectionists who are obsessed with optimizing everything, and this position gives you a ton of ways to please each other. "Press your hands against the wall or use them to wander over your partner’s body (or your own) to discover new and unique erogenous zones," Dr. Jess suggests.
ISTP: The Pretzel
This position presents a challenge, which is perfect for a "flexible, resourceful analyst" like ISTPs, says Dr. Jess. As the name would suggest, this one requires you to get yourselves all wrapped up in each other. You should each have one knee and one foot on the bed—the opposite one of your partner, says Dr. Jess. "The Pretzel offers the best of all worlds: eye contact, the ability to grind, rub, thrust and experiment with different angles."
ISFP: Missionary
ISFPs are all about mindfulness, so go extra slow in a simple position like missionary or cowgirl, paying close attention to your partner. Try to maintain eye contact and breath in sync for an extra-intense connection.
INFP: Face Sitting
"You’re a curious, adaptable lover who truly wants to understand your partner’s needs," says Dr. Jess. This position allows you to totally focus on them and lets them communicate exactly what they want to you.
INTP: Deep V
INTPs enjoy intellectual stimulation, and this one will keep your mind active as it tries to solve the puzzle of where your legs should go. Lie on your back on the bed with your legs spread in a V shape while your partner stands on the floor, then move your legs around to find the most intense sensation. You can try moving your legs to one side, tucking them back by your head, putting them over your partner's shoulders, or moving them forward. "Remember that your bodily reactions can change with both your sexual response and menstrual cycle," says Dr. Jess. "Even if you think you’ve found your money move, it’s worth experimenting with minor variations."
ESTP: Car Sex
This personality type can be a bit impatient, so they'll appreciate a quickie. ESTPs are also quite spontaneous and like experimentation, so you may even enjoy using a seatbelt to tie up your partner. "Lower the backrest of the front seat and use your fingers and tongue to tantalize all of their hot spots," Dr. Jess suggests.
ESFP: Wheelbarrow
ESFPs love to goof around, so they won't be turned off by a position reminiscent of school field days. Put your hands on the floor and let your partner stand behind you and lift up your legs. "If your arms tire, you can always use pillows or a couch for extra support," Dr. Jess advises.
ENFP: Cavity Search
Dirty talk is a strong suit of the ENFP, and this position allows you to practice this skill. Your partner spreads their legs and faces the wall while you whisper whatever you want into their ear from behind.
ENTP: A Bit of Everything
ENTPs bore quickly, so they need to switch things up often. A few positions Dr. Jess recommends are the Downward Dog, which is just like the yoga position; the Backward Cat, which is like missionary with your upper body hanging off the bed; the At Your Service, with one partner lying on the bed and the other performing oral from the ground; and the Reverse Cowgirl Plus, where you ride your partner backward with their legs bent so you can grind on their thighs.
ESTJ: Daisy Chain
This personality type is a planner who loves to build community, so they're the perfect ones to organize a sex party. For a daisy chain, people get in a circle, and each participant goes down on someone else.
ESFJ: Loving Dancers
ESFJs are givers and love to make their partners happy. For their ideal position, you stand facing each other, one of you puts your leg up, and the other supports it. The sex feels like "a warm, erotic embrace," says Dr. Jess.
ENFJ: Two Crabs
This personality type responds very well to feedback, so ENFJs will benefit from a clear view of their partner. For Two Crabs, one person sits down with their legs out in front and their hands on the ground, and the other thrusts on top in a bridge position.
ENTJ: Director's Chair
ENTJs are leaders, so they'll enjoy sitting in a chair and telling a partner who's straddling them what to do—or being the one straddling their partner and taking control.
This all comes with a disclaimer, of course. "Just as each personality type varies and there is a considerable amount of crossover between categories, so too do these positions," Dr. Jess notes. "These positions are intended for fun and experimentation—don’t take them too seriously." We're looking at you, ISTJs.
