Everyone wants a strong personality. A magnetic personality allows a person to attract others into their world and to convince them to come round to their way of thinking.

Quite often a strong personality goes a long way in ensuring a person is successful in life and their chosen career.

However most people do not have that extra something. They don't possess the strong personality they are looking for.

The reasons for this are often one of two;

• They don't know what it takes.
• Or they have not taken the time to develop their personality.

However we all have traits that allow us to achieve the strong presence we all want.

This is because in order to develop a strong presence and personality, there is one key ingredient needed to achieve the desired result.

The first thing to do when developing a strong personality is to ask one important question — who am I?

It no longer comes as a surprise to me, just how many people cannot truly answer this question.

So start with a complete evaluation of who you are.

There are similarities between people with charisma and a strong presence, but they are all unique in some way.

There isn't a go to blueprint to get the results you are looking for.

Having said that it is possible to work on or even add to your personality to increase your presence further.

There are a long list of traits that when developed can improve an individual's presence and personality.

-Know how to enter a room-

A person with that strong presence is felt the moment they enter a room. I have yet to make up my mind if this is a natural ability for some people or if it's something that must be worked on.

People with a strong personality are usually confident in themselves and their abilities; this usually results in ambitious goals.

They are very driven to reach their goals also.

-Be fearless-

This fearlessness also helps in achieving your goals.

Don't be afraid to take risks and embrace your mistakes.

-Trust your instincts-

The risks you take should come from trusting your instincts. Use your intelligence and life experience when making decisions.

-Accept you're in control of your own life-

Don't place the blame for your circumstances or mistakes on others. Own your mistakes in exactly the same way you own your successes.

-Straight talking-

You have opinions and beliefs, don't be afraid to voice them. Say it how it is. Yet despite this be open to listening to other people's opinions and happily change your stance on something if you are convinced by those opinions.
