Sane or Insane?

I know people afraid to venture outside mainly because they watch too much television, especially the news. The fear they have created is the best mind control that I have ever seen! Without the spin from the media, do you find things better or worse where you live? I still believe most people are inherently good at heart - am I sane or insane for holding this belief? Are individuals sane or insane for letting the media control their lives? Only two choices today. :-)
