Can you believe in blind faith and superstition and why ?

I do believe in blind faith but not in Superstition. However, the perspective from which you have asked these questions matters a lot. The most important aspect is how does these affect you or your life ? 

Lets start analyzing blind faith. So you have faith on something or someone, without any substantial facts behind it. But then the question comes, why do you have this faith and what do you expect out of it ? If you simply have that faith, and do not wait for any outcome as a result, then that is fine. 

But if you expect something from that blind faith, then that would turn into a Superstition, which in my opinion should not happen, because it affects you sometimes very dangerously. 

A good example of recent love relationships between youngsters where they have blind faith on each other and when that breaks, some even take extreme steps.

And all these are based on Superstition in personal life. There are public Superstitions as well, and I do not think, we need to believe them at all. I have a very funny experience with this. In my younger age, there was a superstition about a ghost being present in the funeral place of my village and every one is saying if one goes in the midnight of a particular day in the month, they can see the ghost sitting on the tree. The only condition was that, you need to go naked. And believe me, I tried it one fine day, along with 2-3 friends .We all went naked after 12 pm in the night, on that particular day (  Sankranti ) , and tried to search for that ghost. There was absolutely nothing :)
