28 going on 80.
One thing that never fails at making you realize how old you are getting, is having a hang-over.
Today I am hungover. But my hangovers aren't what they used to be. Now, if I get a hangover I am incapacitated for multiple days. And violently ill. What used to be a few hours of tummy-sickness cured by a glass of water and ibuprofen is now 48 hours of DEATH. This lead me to start thinking about how old I am getting.
Things I took for granted as a Spring chicken:
- lack of hangover
- having energy
- sex-drive
- ability to eat all the food and never gain fat
- ability to retain information
- cheery disposition
- hope
Things I did not realize would be an issue but which are now an issue:
- body constantly achey
- 48 hour DEATH hangovers
- inability to retain information
Seriously though, I am tired, achey, and can't remember anything. I have to write notes all over the place just to remember simple things. I need reminders to check my reminders. As typing this I am realizing maybe this isn't normal for a 28 year old? I feel like I am physically, and mentally, an old lady. It can't be normal to have so many issues at 28. Perhaps, I should not have read Hunter S. Thompson and Timothy Leary and decided to be a "drug-enthusiast" in my youth.
Seriously though, toilet.

Ahh you need to give nootropics a go. Choline is good for brain functions and high doses of vitamin d3 should add that extra spring to your step.
o0oh Thanks for the tips! :D
Thats how i feel a lot of the time too! I always used to get mad at my mom for being so forgetful and here i am not even knowing half of my day yesterday haha I just figure if i keep my spirit young maybe it'll trick my body. Can you only imagine being freakin 80...thats gotta be uncomfortable
I have definitely become worried of how physically and mentally painful it will be to be that old. I would be fine with kicking the bucket at 60.
Yeah or like 75 at the most
If you are talking about hangovers from alcohol then there is a very simple remedy. Drink as much water as you can before going to bed, like 2 or 3 liter even more if you can.
Great Share!!!
That last graphic tho! I'm around number 3

That image cracks me up. I am the last one but that's really just cause of my shitty bladder. I can't even imagine how it'll be in 40 years. O_O
"You won't be young forever" lightly , @lauralemons

Laura, As you let us know in your previous posts you have Interstitial Cystitis
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstitial_cystitis
"Individuals with interstitial cystitis often experience an increase in symptoms when they consume certain foods and beverages. Avoidance of these potential trigger foods and beverages such as caffeine-containing beverages including coffee, tea, and soda, alcoholic beverages.."
you can also google the relation between IC and alcohol
https://www.google.com.ar/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=jLSSV_j1Gs7V8wfExqIQ&gws_rd=ssl#q=insterstitial+cystitis+and+alcohol
and see that many people have symptoms of IC flare up when they drink.
Maybe this has something to do with what you are telling us in this post.
