Forgetting where you put your keys....
Hi all...first post after signing up since September 2016. I remember my friend sent me a link on steemit and said "This sight will destroy facebook and reddit" - I immediately took a look at it and sent a message back "Yeah the site that is going to destroy those two - requires you to have an account with one of those 2." On that same email we laughed about thinking that 5 bitcoin for $650 was expensive the year earlier and that now each one was worth $650...1 yr ago...what a wild ride!
And hindsight is a bitch. Because I signed up, and immediately didn't do anything with it, other than sign up for Jeff Berwick and The Dollar Vigilante https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpf2Lxgf10AjzBT4GIIgDJw. This is no pump for the TDV, I spent the last year pooping on them and this year I am eating that poop. Berwick has been on the pulse of crypto currency for the last many years. Had I of listened to his info instead of being turned off by "him" as a person I would have been quite well to do right now.
But the only reason I mention tdv is that Steemit is about the blockchain, Berwick has been bang on about the blockchain tech and I am happy to announce that after doing nothing with this page since 2016...it's worth $45. Whats up with all this rambling and how does it relate to the title...well I had written down my steemit key and left if in a draft email, of which I have over 4gb worth...since I had no idea when I signed up or what i did with it I had left steemit to be on its own. Then crypto blew up and I knew I had a blockchain address for a few sites kicking around, I'm sure I have a free miner from 2016 that has been earning ever since....I'm sure there are billions of dollars out there from people like myself that didn't take the power of the blockchain seriously. have you lost your keys? Got a key story? Please share!
But after over a yr of nothing I came back to this thing being valued at $45...my blog http://my-time-my-way.blogspot.ca/ which at one point received quite a few followers is worth exactly nothing. So...fuck the heck have I been doing!! Stay tuned...steemit may indeed get steamy!
So is this page going to be about crypto? Hell no...there are a million pages on that. This post however is!! And maybe its shameless to include the tdv link in here and maybe it wil be shameless to post this on a few crypto pages...but it's got to start somewhere. :) But I will touch on crypto, I do love it. While my position is incredibly small...I look forward to updating you with wins and losses through 2018.
I am always open for advice on new wallets, exchanges and opportunities.
