RE: Performance and Scalability Updates

in #performance7 years ago (edited)

Thank you very much for the update, I think a lot of people were waiting for it.
You said that "Our top priority remains improving the platform as rapidly as possible, and we do not want to distract from that." From my personal point of view I don't think that communication and implementation are mutually exclusive. You may not reveal every secret about your doings (also nobody expects that), but having heavy downtimes during more than one week may be a good reason to at least tell your community and new visitors of the site that everything is alright.

Chapter closed. I'm pretty convinced that you're doing an amazing job with regards to these performance and scalability updates. Thanks for the communication and your efforts!

Absolutely.

This blog must have taken 20 minutes to write.

90% of readers don't understand/care for the first 3 headings, the focus and top heading should have been Communication.

Two articles in 3 weeks from @steemitblog. I'm sorry, but this isn't good enough.

We don't expect to be told inner details of code revamps, we just want a message saying 'sorry, we know there is a problem, we are working on it'.

This message can come out daily, and/or be pinned as a top post in my home screen.

Zappl it while you are taking a 'personal break' if you wish - just keep the community in the loop!
