The Sip I've been waiting 23 years for. -= Crystal Pepsi =- c. 2016
It took 23 years and Pepsi now has a limited run of my favorite childhood drink. Crystal Pepsi, or as you will hear me refer to it Clear Pepsi. LJ was traveling back from NC, when she stopped to get gas in Wytheville, VA and found a bottle at her favorite gas station. I waited till today so I could broadcast live me taking a sip after waiting 23 years for them to bottle it again.
Cracking my first bottle in 23 years and taking a sip is the highlight of my pop life. Now I don't drink pop much anymore (maybe 5-6 a year) at 37, I try to eat healthy and avoid sugary drinks. But for Crystal Pepsi I will make an exception! Let me say the wait was worth it and it was every bit as good as I remembered. Still has the taste I can only describe as a bubbly flat cola. In all the good ways. I wonder if I will continue to have dreams about it?
