if you head over to KnowYourMeme and look up pepe you will see. The creator killed hiim off in his own "book universe" because he didn't like how a few thousand people put nazi logos on pepe. 99.9999999% of all pepe memes are just fun stuff and .000000001% of them have something to do with nazis.
