Mokoro boat - Peoplephotography by worldcapture Week #33
How's it going Steemers?
I would like to share a photo I took when we were on a mokoro boat on our way to our camp site in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, Africa.
These boats are like a canoe and are made out of fibreglass, they used to make them out of straight trees but the fibreglass is alot more durable.
They use a big stick to propel the mokoro through the windy rivers.
Just keep an eye out for hippos as they are known to charge at these mokoros sometimes.
The Okavango delta sure is an amazing place we camped the night out on the river and went on foot safari, we saw some elephants, wilder beast and Zebra. And the best sunrise ever!
This is also my entry for the Peoplephotography Contest hosted by @worldcapture.
Excellent people shot.
