Bushmen from Ghanzi Botswana - Africa - Peoplephotography by worldcapture Week #16
While I was in Ghanzi Botswana Africa , we met up with the local bushmen. They taught us how they hunt, start a fire, find water and live off the land out in the bush.
Pictured here, they are stripping a plant root which they eat, as the root holds alot of water inside it.
The easiest way to find these plant roots is to find anteater dig outs were they where digging for ants and the roots are exposed in the hole left behind and easily plucked from the dirt.
The root had a strange texture kind of like a cucumber but it was very juicy and a great supply for water.
It was very interesting to learn how they live off the land in such a harsh environment.
