I shot this image few years ago in Rijeka, Croatia. It was the time of tangerines & the time of poverty in my homeland - Croatia - which lasts all year long & every year due to the domestic traitors in the form of ruling elite who rob their own country & the people along with their foreign lords.
In extraordinary beautiful region of river Neretva, thousands of tons of tangerines are grown every year & cause of incapable landlords & merchants & most of all - treacherous elite robbers, most of the tangerines are being very difficult to sell so the truck loaded with tangerines came all the way to the North, to Rijeka to sell them for a very cheap price.
As you can sea on the photo, mostly the pensioners stand in the crowd trying to buy some tangerines cause it's their very chance to save some money & to get some tasty domestic food...
Well, it was a said sight to me but, I guess, this is the way it suppose to be...
I shot this one with my old Nikon F-401s camera & AF Nikkor 35-70 mm lens on a black & white Efke film produced by the ex Yugoslavian & Croatian company Fotokemika d.d. which was ruined & destroyed by the false privatization by those very same political elite robbers already mentioned.
