Today marks 77 years for the American singer, poet and composer - Bob Dylan.
Bob Dylan is one of the most influential figures in pop music for the past fifty years. Most of the musician's most famous works were written in the 1960s, when he was proclaimed "the voice of the generation" and one of the main protesters, contributed to such songs as "Blowin 'in the Wind" and "The Times They Are a-Changin '", Which became hymns of the movement for civil rights and movements against the war in Vietnam.
In 1965, he radically changed the sounding (English) Russian, thereby breaking away from the American folk movement and his early fan base, recording the cult six-minute single "Like A Rolling Stone", whose innovative concept is considered one of the turning points in pop -music of the XX century.
Dylan is one of the most commercially successful musicians of all time - as of 2018, the total circulation of his albums exceeds 100 million copies. Throughout his career, Dylan has been awarded many prestigious awards, including twelve Grammy Awards, one Oscar and one Golden Globe. In addition, he was included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Hall of Fame, the Hall of Fame songwriter and the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. In addition, the musician is a laureate of the Pulitzer Prize, as well as the Nobel Prize in Literature "for the creation of new poetic expressions in the great American song tradition."
