If you enjoy doing it then you will never notice that you are working and you might as well get revenue since you would be doing it without it!

Conversely if it becomes something you do solely for profit you sacrifice a certain beauty that comes only from passion; which is a great consequence of for-profit art found in capitalistic systems.
