How to influence people - by @dcrypto

You might be wondering why you need an attitude to influence people. Influencing people is better which would make your life more comfortable, and it helps you to thrive in many fields especially in your professional life. Of course, if you want a better life partner, you need to be more persuasive. This is not a new idea, you are being influenced by many people’s ideas, one of which is marketing. You are being influenced by the way they approach you and the way they advertise their product.
So get the few tips that help you to influence people in a much better way. If you wish to read a good book on how to influence people, you can read a book “the phycology influence of persuasion” by Robert B. Cialdini and a book by Dale Carnegie. Tips here are from these two books, which I liked the most.

Genuinely make an interest in the person

Don’t wait for the moment that the person should come to you and get influenced by you. You need to be more interested in the person in order to get more attention from him/her. The better way to influence is to start conversation and make sure that you give an impression that shows you are interested in the person. The better idea is to ask more about the person. People often like to speak about them rather than talking about politics or so. So, better ask about the person and continue the conversation. So that the person thinks you are much passionate about him and eventually get influenced by you.

Give them a compliment

If you are a team lead, and one of your team members has done an amazing thing to solve an issue, you can give a tribute to his or her before your entire team or even before the whole workforce. Let their ideas thrive as well as yours. The person remembers the event as the whole life because you can hardly find people who give a genuine compliment these days because of their ego. If you are not a lead or not in higher position, you can even provide a commendation for their work or even for how they look.

Make the person say yes immediately.

Many experts believe that a more significant yes would never happen than a same yes with multiple small yeses. For example, if you ask a small favor that anyone would do, you are most likely to get a yes. Then if you ask little significant support, you are most likely to get a yes. Then eventually by this chain of asking favors, you can reach the bigger yes that would be impossible if you asked it initially.

Give value to the person and don’t expect anything from the person.

Being humans, we often tend to expect things which we gave to others. If you genuinely wanted to influence the person and make friends, you would never expect any favor in return. This kind of attitude triggers the person’s attention, and gradually he will think about you more often.

very best answer why do you want to influence people and have following is because you could change their lives and deliver your message to a big audience.
It gives you so much power and resposiblity. I hope none of us will do what three days ago Kylie Jenner did by tweeting about SnapChat.

I like this post very much. I find it interesting when you mentioned to "ask more of the person" Either people like to talk about themselves, or find it extremely difficult. However, asking does prove that you are showing interest. I also believe that physical lures and gestures help to influence someone. (Smiles, speaking with confidence, etc.)

In my job i see that some people even if they are almost the rudest of people A lot of time if you are kind to them and ignore their stupidity they will do a 180 on attitude . Also, i have found that if you are confident you will win them over . Very few people will stay snobby or rude . I have always been my self .

well post thanks for shareing...

I do agreed with the sentiments expressed in this post. Often, it is said that "your attitude determines your altitudes in life". This unarguably include ones ability to influence people.
