RE: Pentaskill

A lot of cool ideas and it is good to see the experimentation continuing.

What I'm trying to make is a pure peer to peer system where no one takes a profit from the winnings.

This threw me for a loop. How is the profits gained? From the entire value of the game which all are stakeholders in?

  • I could create a governance token.
  • I'm trying to monetize animation (currently in the form of GIFs).
  • The value of a truly decentralized free game should bring a lot of demand to the network in general.
  • Tipping escrow services will be encouraged until I get get smart contracts up and running.
  • Beating other players at the game more than 50% of the time will also yield a profit.

I've also realized I can add things like a chatroom with relatively little effort. It's just a custom json embedded into the code that I've already written. I already have a loop that parses block information so adding extra stuff on top becomes a trivial issue.

I've even considered connecting to a Bitcoin node in order to continue my work on @Lottoshi, a lottery that uses the unhackable random numbers from POW coins to determine the winners. Because I've already figured out how to SHA-256 hash strings the work that I'm doing now also makes this project easier to complete.

I love the ideas. There are a lot of possibilities to enrich the users while bringing value to the game.

These are the type of things to enable people to start to understand the concept of abundance and the fact that we do not have to buy into the scarcity economy any more.
