My Contacts App are going off!!

2-3 days ago, I got a message from MyContacts App. It has been announced to close their app and directed store the important information to another storage. It’s a shocking news to me because I use this App frequently.

Telenor authorities said that the My Contact is going down from March 1. My Contacts is a digital solution made from Telenor Digital (a Telenor Company). Telenor Digital's Connect Account service is used to login to the account.

The organization said, we are thankful to you for considering My Contacts to save your most important information. We are very sad to inform that my contacts have been closed since 1 March, 2018.

However, they are advised to save mobile number and other information even after the closure.The organization says that before 1 March, you should keep copies of all contacts on your phone. Through a synchronization, all the contacts can be copied to the phone. After this date everything will be deleted and the account can not be entered.

Telenor has said the method to get a secure backup or contact list on the phone. First you have to login to open My Contacts app. Then pressing the 'Copy a new' button will complete the sync process and return it to all contact phone books. Then click 'backup my contacts now'.

Besides, the backup of the contacts can be save as a CSV file. To redeem the backup file, mycontacts-app.com must be logged in. Then click on the settings icon. Import / export contacts and contact data and scroll to 'Export contacts'. Before closing, there are several reminder available.

When you finish these processes, your information will be safe. My contacts will not sell or transfer your contacts or personal information.
